Angarthal

Angarthal is the solo project of Steve Angarthal, offering a multifaceted hard rock sound infused with elements of progressive rock, heavy metal, as well as influences from rock blues and classical music.

Steve personally oversees all aspects of composition and production while also serving as the band’s guitarist and vocalist.

The album that launched this journey, “Uranus and Gaia” (2016), featured drummer Luca Saja (Dragon’s Cave), Angelo Perini (Fire Trails), keyboardist Mauri Belluzzo (Alchemy Divine), and drummer Sergio Pescara (Groovydo).

This was followed by the release of the singles “Hard Time Shuffle” in 2019 and “Bye Bye Blues” in January 2020—both rock blues-driven tracks featuring Larsen Premoli (keyboards and audio engineer), Angelo Perini (bass), and Jody Brioschi (drums).

In the summer of 2020, the single “The Swann” was released, with Steve Angarthal himself handling the performance of all instruments and the arrangement.

In July 2022, the instrumental single “The Phoenix Journey” was released, entirely produced and performed by Steve Angarthal (mastered at Rec Lab Studios by Larsen Premoli).

In November 2024, the new instrumental single “Silent Cry” was released, entirely produced and performed by Steve Angarthal (mastered at Rec Lab Studios by Larsen Premoli).
